Lance Palmer

MMA Career: 

Lance began his mixed martial arts career in April, 2011, when he moved to Sacramento, California, home of Team Alpha Male. Team founder and MMA great, Urijah Faber, was a big influence in Lance's decision to make Team Alpha Male his home. 

After one month of MMA training, Lance accepted his first professional fight. 

The Ohio State University Career: 

 2007- Big Ten Championships 3rd place, NCAA Division 1 All-American, 4th place. Lance was the first Ohio State wrestling true freshman All-American since JD Bergman. 2008- Big Ten Championships 6th place, NCAA Division 1 All-American, 8th place. 2009- Big Ten Championships 3rd place, NCAA Division 1 All-American 4th place. 2010- Big Ten Conference Champion and Most Valuable, NCAA Division 1 National Runner-up. Lance became just the second Ohio State wrestler to earn four-time All-American status. 

St. Edward High School Career: Four-time Ohio High School State Champion (2003-2006) ... just second wrestler in Ohio High School wrestling history to pin his way through sectional, district and state tournaments (junior year) ... owned high school career record of 150-6 en route to several tournament wins and individual accolades ... 2006 Senior National Champion at 140 pounds ... two-time Most Valuable Wrestler at St. Edward High School (2004 and 2005) ... recorded most pins on high school squad in 2004 (21) and 2005 (24) ... part of 2006 high school squad that won its 10th-consecutive team title and 22nd overall ... in 2004, was Ohio Division I State Duals MVP and Asics IronMan National Champion ... two-time Beast of the East champion ... three-time MIT champion ... third-place finisher at 2005 Junior National Tournament at 140 pounds.
